First of all, you need to ignore all those people claiming to be legitimate loan officers. They are scammers. Watch out for those while you’re looking for loans. The best and safest things you can do is check the SBA and/or a few banks. Depending on where you live, look for banks that has loan programs for businesses, call them, explain what you want to do, and they’ll tell you if and how they can help.

For the SBA, you’ll need a business plan, you either have a writer draft one for you, or you can buy one online and have it customized. I use those a lot, and they’re pretty reliable. Just google the terms “business plans”. Go to for more information; the site might be confused at first because there’s a lot of information there. There’s also some contact numbers, so call them.
